死火手記

前言：
二零零七年三月七日，香港將有歷史上第一個公開給市民出席的特首選舉論壇。市民可以即場發問問題，亦可以網上發問問題，切實地參與選舉過程。在公開參與的論壇裏，特首選舉將是市民親身參與的事，而不是遙不可及的事。主辦者已將大部份坐位預留給市民，在公開公平的規則及市民主導的條件下，此論壇相信是香港民主發展的重要里程碑。香港人，請一起見證這重要的一日吧！

3月7日競選論壇會照計劃舉行。 雖然可能祇得一個候選人出席，但無理由因此剝奪市民唯一的參與機會，論壇或未能完美，但不會傾向某候選人。從過去幾場的個別業界的論壇的經驗看來，與會的單一候選人往往要施展混身解數，化解一連串的追問。

The March-07 Forum will proceed as planned. Although we may have only one CE candidate to the forum, we have no ground to further cancel the minimal participation of the public. It may not be a perfect arrangement with one candidate only but it will not be a biased forum. In several forums of sectors where only one CE candidate did attend, the candidate had to demonstrate his capability to the bombardment of questions and challenges.
